Worry often gives...

Eye-popping pay

Eye-popping pay package. The folks at Footnoted.org discovered some breathtaking perks in the employment contract of DFC Global CEO Jeffrey A. Weiss. The most striking is the company’s promise to pay Weiss the equivalent of $300,000 a year for life once he leaves the company. Then there’s an “Incremental Capstone Award” promising him a further $150,000 a year for life. That’s all on top of a $1 million salary and a $1.25 million target annual bonus. Here’s the text of the employment agreement.
