Open Secret: MicroNovell
Gartner Disses Windows, But Where's The Breakthrough OS?

The headline screams, the pundit queries...
The answer is painfully obvious... in a word . . . MicroNovell.
As it stands right now there are only very few applications that would need to be ported for MicroNovell to capitalize on the upcoming Business Desktop replacement cycle.
MicroNovell Office
MicroNovell Outlook
But...but, what of all those applications that run on that old Microsoft OS architecture?
Well, what about them? Microsoft got locked into its current box because no one was willing to evolve - most specifically the users. (Which are by the way the people with the money that all developers want a piece of...)
I pity the foo' developer that isn't looking at their current offering through the rosy lenses of a browser! Only the most foo'ish will insist that their 'precious little program' must run stand-alone in a proprietary computing environment.
Sheeeeesh! Talk about the epitome of Microsoft mega-egotistical thinking.
Microsoft is dead, long live MicroNovell!
