Mmmm, tastes like...

Two polar bears swim towards an unsuspecting child. The massive carnivores approach the little boy in what looks like an imminent tragedy.

But there’s more to these pictures than meets the eye, as the children and the polar bears are separated by 10-inch thick plexiglass at Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat, Canada, in an attempt to promote awareness about the animals. The sanctuary only takes in rescued bears from the wild and through letting visitors get so close they hope to help understanding and reduce hunting. (See also here)
